The Shun Nagare Black Santoku, with its special material properties, belongs to the absolute luxury class among knife series. The blade of the Nagare Black Santoku has an artistically designed, radial pattern that reveals the 72 Damascus layers.

Two different types of steel (VG-2 & VG-10) are forged together to create the Nagare Black Santoku. The interlocking layers give the Nagare Black Santoku a blade with exceptionally long-lasting cutting performance and a hardness of HRC 61. The riveted handle scales made of black pakka wood, an impregnated and particularly resistant wood veneer, lend the Nagare Black Santoku elegance and value.
